As Inkosi YamaKhosi Mpezeni IV, your reign has outlasted at least six Zambian political regimes, and it has been a historical reign. You are the first Mpezeni to have gone back to your ancestral land in South Africa to see exactly where your forefathers came from. Furthermore, it is under your reign that the Ngonis led by you in June 2000 went to Chikundas at Zumbo to apologise for the death of the Chikunda fishermen who were killed by the Ngonis after having helped them cross the Zambezi River in 1835. You are seen by many as unifier of the Mazwangendaba factions. Whereby, another highlight of your reign was invited to witness the coronation of the new Zulu King, King Misuzulu Kazwelithini in 2022. Back home, you are the one who coronated all the other AmaKhosi under your reign. Your unifying spirit in the kingdom of the Ngonis and indeed the whole nation is worthy of special commendation.”
