“He was honoured for his contribution to the development of service in the country, having joined the civil service as a works supervisor in 1963 and rising through the ranks to the position of Assistant Director-Professional; Adminstration (DTEVT) Headquarters on 30th October 1987, the position he held until his retirement in 1994. He rendered over 29 years in the Government. He was Governor Bank of Zambia and Ambassador to Europe.”
