“They were honoured for the role they played in retrieving the bodies of two workmates who were trapped in rubble following a massive underground accident at 418ML of Mindolo SV Shaft on 9th July 2004. When twelve Mpelembe Drilling employees were reported missing, the two put their lives at risk when they went into the Rubble to retrieve the trapped colleagues.”
