“He was honoured for dedicating his life to the service of mankind starting as a pioneer teacher in 1940 and later as African Native Clerk in Mongu. He rose to the position of African Administrative Assistant and served in Kitwe on the Copperbelt and Kalabo in Western Province after which he become District Secretary in Kabwe in Central Province till his retirement in 1975.”
