“Educated at Chitokoloki Mission in Zambezi District, upon passing standard VI in 1946 he was employed as a Medical Orderly at Chitokoloki until 1958 when he was among the first people in Zambezi District to support African National Congress both financially and morally. He transferred from ANC in 1959 and joined ZANC and later UNIP. In 1962 he organised UNIP members to make bricks and built the first Regional Office in Zambezi and other infrastructure.”
