“He was honoured for serving the Zambia Police Force for 29 years commitment, loyalty, dedication and honesty to government within which he served as Aide de Camp to President Kaunda and rose to the position of commissioner of Police at State House before he became Inspector General of Police. He also commanded special squad of Police Officers who raided the coup plotters hide out, leading to the arrest of some of them thus foiling the coup attempt of 1980.”
